Can I Share Something with You?

I love learning. I guess it’s my curious nature.

But what makes learning even better for me is sharing it with other people. That way, maybe you get to learn something. And then if you share it, someone else gets to learn.

But where I’m sharing these days is changing.

I find I’m using Facebook less frequently. It’s filled with ads and irrelevant suggestions. It’s the political season. And frankly, I don’t have control over who sees what.

Do you know what does work, though? Email.

If you’d like more certainty too, please share your email:

My biggest desire is to help other people learn along with me. To help you become a better version of yourself and to be prepared for whatever comes next.

The best way I know how to prepare for the future is to understand the past.

“Trying to plan for the future without a sense of the past is like trying to plant cut flowers.” — Daniel Boorstin

Daniel Boorstin, aside from being a historian, was the 12th Librarian of Congress. I tend to like people who know things. Maybe you do too.

But it’s not just knowing things that makes a difference in people’s lives. I’m sure you had a lot of teachers or bosses who knew things. But I’ll be the ones you remember are those who told great stories about what they knew.

And that’s what great leaders do: they inspire others. They teach others. They help to grow others.

“If your actions inspire others to learn more, dream more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.” — Dolly Parton

If this sounds like something you can get behind — learning and being inspired every week to grow yourself and in turn to add to the lives of the people around you, then I’d love for you to join me here.
