Words — especially words from someone people look up to — can help and hinder, inspire and discourage, elevate and intimidate.
We can muster them to bring people together to be greater collectively rather than individually, or we can craft them to tear others down to serve our own needs. An Impassioned Speech showed this.
The choice is yours.
Think about someone you looked up to and a time they said something that still sticks with you. What was it? How did it make you feel? I’d love to hear.
