Always good!!! I went from business major to religion major to philosophy, getting progressively farther from anything pecuniary and the rest is history.
I spent 10 years in art school trying to be a designer. I tried SO hard. The problem: I was just bad. Whatever that creative designer DNA is, it was missing. However, the rigorous design thinking training I received —especially at Center (now College) for Creative Studies—still serves me today. Fun fact: Automotive designer Camilo Pardo was a year ahead of me. (He was good. ;-P) I wonder if the need to pivot early on as we did is a common element for leaders who are good at collecting all the lemons and making something great from them...
Thank you for this Scott
