Wonderful! And I will add one of my favorites from that King of similes, P.G. Wodehouse: "Honoria, you see, is one of those robust, dynamic girls with the muscles of a welter-weight and a laugh like a squadron of cavalry charging across a tin bridge."

Perfection itself! He had some real humdingers. I note that Wodehouse has nearly 30 entries in the Simile Dictionary. Among them:

"Being in the same room with the two men was like dropping in on a reunion of Capulets and Montagues."

"Stood addressing his ball like Lot’s wife just after she had been turned into a pillar of salt."
