Great topic Scott and I would say that with politics many people Hate with a fervor without allowing an openness to discourse and letting ones actions marinate for a time before prejudging. Assume Positive Intent goes along way...most people have good intent and with scars along the way, health or other challenging perceptions of the truth their beliefs may be misaligned, so communicate and show love and see how that goes!
