Thank you. Determined as ever- to continue to contribute ideas and solutions to issues and problems and to love everyone even when they are wayward, still exposing and quashing sins while working to reform not crush so called sinners. It’s hard work! I am Appreciating your discerning guidance.

You're absolutely right, Penni - it IS hard work. But worth it, even if it doesn't catch as much attention as the rest.

Scott, this is a steadying piece — not because it minimizes what’s happening, but because it refuses to look away while still insisting on meaning. I appreciate how you framed the year not as a series of headlines, but as a set of recurring human tests: grief, leadership, empathy, service. That lens feels clarifying rather than overwhelming.

I also found real comfort in the idea that we’re not tasked with eliminating suffering, but with meeting it well. That feels both honest and actionable — especially right now.

This is one I’ll come back to, not to re-read in a rush, but to sit with when the noise gets loud again. Thanks for holding the long view and inviting us into it. — Kelly
